Wasief Casper

Background

Wasief Casper joined the Civil Infrastructure division of Qunu Consulting (Pty) Ltd in 2007 after working as a resident engineer on various road infrastructure projects for a period of 6 years. He obtained his National Diploma (Civil) in 1999 and his Btech Degree (Civil) the following year in 2000 at the Cape Technicon and immediately joined the consulting engineering industry.

He joined the civil engineering division of Qunu Consulting (Pty) Ltd In 2007 where he specialised in roads and civil infrastructure projects and has since gained extensive experience in the design, supervision and management of these types of projects. In 2009 he was promoted to Director and assumed the responsibility for the design and implementation of roads and civil infrastructural projects for Qunu Consulting (Pty) Ltd.

Recent prominent projects he was involved with include: new WESTRA Milling Complex [Kimberley, Northern Cape]; Panorama Healthcare Centre [Western Cape]; Mercedes Benz Dealership [Paarl]; Psychiatric Hospital – CMH Hospital [East London]; Phase 3F Frere Hospital – Sipetu Hospital [Mthatha, Eastern Cape]; Stone Square Retail Development [Welgevonden, Stellenbosch]; Gordons Bay Harbour and Hout Bay Harbour [Repairs to Harbour and Civil Infrastructure].

In addition to these prominent projects he was involved in various other civil infrastructural and roads projects over his 16 year career as a consulting engineer.
